MHG Miracle Gel

Hello Beauties! Well, it has been a while since the last time I share a review of the products that I am using. Honestly, I am pretty excited to share this new product I am using, it is so good that I think everyone should give it a try. By the way, the product is MHG Miracle gel (you'll know why it is called Miracle gel), it is a product of Japan, and Japanese cosmetic products are one of the best if not the best.

Let me give you some information about this product, and how it works. MHG Miracle gel is a scrub, it has a microdermabrasion effect, yeah just like one of the recent treatment that they are offering at high-end dermaclinics. What does microdermabrasion do to our skin? Well, it works like an exfoliant, it peels off dead skin cells to reveal the inner skin which is more clearer and smoother, but microdermabrasion isn't that harmful to skin, it peels the skin gently and instantly help in skin rejuvenation. So, basically it is like exfoliation and skin rejuvenation in one, that why after using this product you'll immediately see the dead skin cell peeled off while leaving your skin clearer and smoother looking.

So, if you are using exfoliants or going for a regular exfoliation treatment, you might want to consider using this product, and I can assure you, you will never regret it. Although, even I, was somehow skeptical with this product at first, but when I started using it, there was really a huge difference and I saw how effective this product is, even with just using it for the first time.

Lastly, this product is relatively new in the international market, so you might have hard time searching for reviews that are not written in Japanese. But, it is rapidly gaining reputation in Asia, so I believe sooner or later, you'll be able to see more reviews of this product.

That's all for now, thank you reading, I hope that somehow it was able to help you. Good day everyone and stay pretty.

La Mer

La Mer moisturizer is pretty expensive for most people and so I’m expecting that many of you are going to be looking forward to this review.
Go to any department store, and when you ask for a top-of-the-line moisturizer, they’ll try to sell you on La Mer. There is just so much hype about this product. Jennifer Lopez uses it by the boatload and if it’s good enough for her, well…

The great thing about the original Creme de la Mer is that it’s good for every skin type. Even a combination-skinned gal like me can use it, and I know that people with very dry skin love it as well. It makes a great base for makeup and does moisturize all day. It’s a great barrier for you skin and helps protect it against the elements.
I think that a jar of Creme de la Mer would make a great Mother’s Day gift if you can afford it. It might be something your mother wants to try anyway, and it’s a luxurious product both in feel and in touch.
I will also say that I couldn’t get this to emulsify between my fingers, and like to apply it by dipping my makeup brush into the jar and then rubbing it on to my face. I know, I know, the people at La Mer would disapprove, but it works for me!

Naturactor Powder Foundation

For me Naturactor Powder Foundation is the most obsessing foundation. I read about this product while I was researching about foundations and was instantly curious about it. Naturactor Powder Foundation stays suspended over fine lines and wrinkles, unlike the leading anti-aging foundation that can gather in wrinkles and make skin look older. Clinically shown to provide significant improvement in skin condition in just four weeks.

Packaging:
It comes in a shallow glass white jar packaging.

Texture and Finish:
The texture of this product is soft and smooth. It's coverage is the best out of the foundation I've tried so far. I also love its matte-finish, it is perfect for those who have an oily skin type.

Shades:
  • #230 Lightest shade for the naturactor powder foundation. Its suitable for pale or dull skin, once applied it will create a rosy effect on skin.
  • #240 Second lightest shade but slightly deeper color than the 230, suitable for light skin tone (maputing filipina with a yellow undertone skin)
  • #243 suitable for fair to medium skin tone. Provides a natural effect on the skin.
  • #250 medium to dark coverage. Suitable for morena / kayumanggi skin.
  • #252 Darkest coverage

All in all, this still is a pretty good product. If you can find a color match, I would recommend it. My advise is to try at least 2 shades on your skin, to ensure that you'll find a match.
If you are looking for a foundation that last long even with oily skin, I guess this product is perfect for you. Less retouch. Less expenses because it is a 2 in 1 product. Whenever you use this product, you don't have to apply any concealer at all.

Thank you for reading!

Sephora Scents

If you haven’t tried products from Sephora’s bath and body line, you really should. They are just scented enough and really good quality.
The two new scents offered this summer are Lime Blossom and Peach Blossom. The Lime Blossom smells more floral and the Peach Blossom smells just like fresh peaches. Peach especially is the scent of the season so if you’re having a hard time deciding, I’d go with that one.

Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Booster

Oh my goodness, even more than other Dermalogica products, I love the Skin Hydrating Booster. It is by far my fav Dermalogica product.
This is basically a serum and the great thing about it is that it actually moisturizes but it’s totally weightless! You can layer it with other products you’re using, and I use it before I put sunscreen on and it’s perfect because you can moisturize without putting too much stuff on your face.
If you happen into a place selling Dermalogica, definitely check out the Skin Hydrating Booster.

Victoria Secret Very Sexy Now

Today I cover a new summer scent.
This one is super-accessible and one that you will be able to find easily – it’s from Victoria Secret and it’s called Very Sexy Now.

I have the scent in a shimmering body oil, and though it’s super-fruity, I like it a lot. Top notes of green apple keep it super fresh instead of sickeningly sweet and that’s a must for the summer scent.

Clinique Long Last Glosswear

clinique
I alluded to a few new Clinique launches a while ago, and as promised individual reviews of products from the summer collection are what you can expect now.

Clinique now introduces Long Last Glosswear with spf 15. It’s a little sticky, it’s semi-sheer, and yes, it’s ultra long-lasting.

Even if you don’t normally frequent the Clinique counter, you have got to check out this gloss in Knockout Nude. It’s the perfect nude colour for the summer and will go with any makeup that you have. Of course, I loved mine so much that I lost it somewhere, but I’ve since replaced it for another and wear it all the time. It’s also very long lasting and is SPF 15 which is great for the summer!
